“A master at rendering value, award-winning Chicago artist Tracy Frein uses a unique approach to visually define objects, create contrast, and render the intricate details of light and shadow within a colored pencil drawing. In this workshop you’ll practice additive and subtractive methods to express observed tones within your work while exploring the “eraser” as an art medium. Subtraction is as important as the addition. Maybe more.
